Job Details

  • Full-Time Position with expected 40+ hours per week in the office and at events
  • Salary and bonus:
    • Salary based on experience and skill set
    • Production payout after expenses met
    • End-of-year revenue bonus
  • Dress Code: Business Professional
  • Hours: 8am – 5pm Monday -Thursday & 8am -4pm Friday

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reporting trackers and metrics to manager weekly on Monday
  • Create annual goals for new clients and new assets under management procurement
  • Procure new financial planning and investment clients
  • Daily calling and emailing activity in order to procure new clients
  • Attend networking events in order to create referral relationships
  • Memorize meeting and phone scripts in order to conduct effective meetings
  • Use CRM software for lead management and notetaking (Redtail)
  • Create financial plans with the help of our financial planning department using eMoney and other financial planning tools
  • Create customized financial recommendations
  • Manage the financial planning process from start to finish
  • Assist in portfolio design and recommendations
  • Conduct research as needed related to assigned client cases
  • Prepare presentations that clearly communicate recommendations and options related to client financial analysis and plan design
  • Present recommendations to clients
  • Ensure compliance notation is adhered to; demonstrate suitable and appropriate recommendations to ensure quality standards, including full and fair disclosure
  • Monitor employees for compliance requirements
  • Implement the collection of data for task assignments to ensure optimum resources are being utilized for timely execution
  • Assist in marketing materials development
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years of advisory experience in a client-facing role
  • Detail oriented
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher-level degree
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation or ability to obtain within 2 years
  • Must have series 65 or 66 license if no CFP® designation
  • Life and Health Insurance license required or ability to obtain
  • Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, financial markets, investments, and insurance-based products
  • Knowledge of concepts and regulations related to financial planning
  • Knowledge of financial related technology, software planning tools and presentations
  • MS Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint proficiency to produce presentations, correspondence, electronic communication; maintain spreadsheets and databases
  • Sufficient organization and time management skills to prioritize workload, handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Detail-oriented to ensure quality standards are met without impairing workflow
  • Task-oriented to ensure resolution and completion of tasks
  • Ability to produce presentations, correspondence, maintain spreadsheets and databases
  • Ability to incorporate the financial needs and goals of a client into a succinct, professional presentation outlining their options
  • Read and interpret technical and legal documents; apply the information as appropriate
  • Provide a high level of customer service in a calm, courteous and professional manner
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
  • Strong ability for public speaking
